Tecnesis, a leading company in the engineering and development of defence systems, has delivered five complete sections of mortars to the Malaysian Army, including 30 units in this latest shipment. This project, valued at approximately 12 million euros, has achieved the total supply of 102 mortars, consolidating the strategic collaboration between both parties.

Each section is composed of six 81mm mortars and an advanced fire control system, adapted by Tecnesis to the target language, integrated with Malaysian maps and in-service ammunition. The system includes forward observer modules, a fire director centre and line cells, optimising the coordination of the artillery pieces with the Malaysian army's communications system. It also features observation and telemetry technology for target designation.
Members of the Tecnesis team have also trained and led the implementation of the system in the units, consolidating it as the most important fire support for Malaysian light infantry.
